Sunday Bingo

One of the key ways we keep freestyle skiing affordable and accessible is through our weekly bingo fundraisers, held every Sunday evening at the Elks Hall in Whitehorse. We have been running this important fundraiser for over a decade and it continues to play a vital role in supporting our athletes, programs, and club operations while fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.

To run these bingos, we require our athletes and parents to work a set number of bingos, depending on which program the athlete is enrolled in. Working these bingos helps to reduce the costs of our high-quality freestyle programs. Each bingo worked contributes $200 toward your athlete’s total registration cost, reducing what you need to pay out-of-pocket. This money goes toward covering costs such as trampoline facility rent, trampoline facility electricity, administration costs, coaching wages, purchasing equipment and equipment maintenance.

Bingo Requirements by Program

  • FUNdamentalz – 3 bingos
  • Jr. Freestylerz – 7 bingos
  • Sr. Freestylerz – 7 bingos
  • Development Team – 10 bingos

Can I skip bingos?

If the required number of bingos is not completed, families are responsible for paying the remaining balance of the full registration amount. For example, if a program's true registration cost is $2100 but is offered as $700 plus 7 bingos, the 7 bingos worked are equal to $1400, which is put towards the athletes registration cost for the year. If only 3 bingos are worked, the family is responsible for paying back $800 for a total of $1500.

Extra Bingos Means Extra Support

Families are welcome to work more than their required number of bingos. While each extra bingo worked still contributes $200 to the club, the athlete also receives a $75 athlete credit for every additional bingo beyond their minimum requirement — a great way to give back and get a little extra!
