Our Programs
We offer a variety of different programs to meet the needs of athletes and help them grow to their fullest potential. Please read through each program carefully to see what would be the best fit for your up-and-coming athlete. If you have any doubts, contact us and we'll make sure your child is placed in the right program.
At least one parent must MUST also have a CFSA Volunteer membership ($20) and are required to
volunteer for one event during the season.

FUNdamentalz
Entry level program for young athletes that want to start learning to ski on jumps and features in the terrain park. The ideal candidate for this program is an athlete who has completed 1 or 2 seasons with snow-school and already has a firm grasp on skiing.

Jr. Freestylerz
This program focuses on skill development. Athletes will begin to learn more difficult freestyle skills, including a 180 spin, 360 spin, 540 spin (in both directions), switch take offs, speed control, different grabs, and more rails.

Sr. Freestylerz
This program is an extension of Jr. Freestylerz, and is designed to maximize on-snow training and continued skill development for athletes that want to advance & try their skills out in competitions.

Developmental Team
This program requires strong foundational Freestyle skills and competitive readiness, both physical and mental. It is intended for young athletes ready to start on their competitive path and train more seriously.

FUNdamentalz
- Learn basic freestyle skills.
- Learn terrain park etiquette.
- Learn to choose the best route in the park according to the proper skill level.
Requirements
- Ability to do parallel ski on blue runs (no snow plow).
- Ability to do turns on blue runs.
- Completed a season of snow school.
- Desire to ski the park.

JR. Freestylerz
- Focus on skill development.
- Begin to learn aerial spinning in both directions.
- Develop competitive skills and start competing in club level events.
Requirements
- Ability to do parallel ski on black runs.
- Ski control & carving skills.
- Basic jump skills.
- Ability to do box sliding.
- Ability to switch ski down green runs.
- Desire to ski the park.

Sr. Freestylerz
- Continued skill development.
- Progression of rail tricks.
- Progression of spins and training on larger jumps.
- Building life-long skiers and high-performance athletes.
Requirements
- Previous FUNdamentalz or Freestylerz experience.
- Ability to parallel ski on the entire mountain.
- Strong stance & balance skills.
- Ability to get onto rails.
- Ability to switch ski down full green runs & most of the blue runs.

Developmental Team
- Prepares skiers to compete at provincial & territorial levels.
- Continued skill development, like starting to qualify inverts on-snow.
- Increased training loads with year-round training program.
- Pre-season on-snow training.
- Athletes are expected to attend 85% of scheduled training (trampoline, dryland, on-snow, airbag/water-ramp, etc).
- Attending summer glacier camps is highly recommended.
Requirements
- Previous freestyle ski training.
- Usual entrance to the program is directly through the Sr. Freestylerz program.
